OK- it should come as no surprise that I have neglected this blog for awhile. My exciting and busy life has kept me away from writing! Yeah- never mind. Actually- I can say that I have not been given any additional apps to review by a certain company (CJ Educations), ever since my last review on "Bear in Underwear". Even though a beloved story of my dear friend Heidi (ps, you're a weirdo), I thought it deserved an honest review. See previous post if you care. Now you know why I've stopped reviewing apps (for now)! As a new school year is almost underway, you may see more on here. Before I go- I'll update you on some AT happenin's. The FUSD AT Team presented in July at the Catch the Wave Assistive Technology Conference in Phoenix, AZ. (which, btw, turns out to be a fabulous place when having hot flashes). Our presentation was a success and we have been invited to present at least one other school district interested in implementing our ideas! So fun to share the love with others who have a similar vision! I'm also proud to announce that no one from our team was asked to leave or to never come back! Yay success (or failure?)!
So, there you have it. I hope you all have enjoyed your summer. Ours was very low-key and filled with soccer/football/softball coaching, playing and watching. Best wishes for the start of another fun-filled school year (stop laughing, I'm trying to be optimistic).
