PrAACtical AAC is a God-send for professionals like myself.  If there was only one source for information, resources, inspiration and practical ideas available, this would be the one.  Headed up by amazing women dedicated to increasing awareness and availability for augmentative communication in all environments for those who need it.  Definitely a must-see for SLPs & ATS alike!

I can't say enough about NAU and The Institute of Human Development.  Not only have I earned my graduate certificate for assistive technology there, but the IHD continues to serve as a source of support and resources that are so valuable I can't describe it.  I can attest on a professional and personal level for the integrity of these individuals (you know who you are!).  The professionals working here are dedicated and well-versed in the field of AT.  You won't find a more remarkable and dynamic program like this.

iMums is another fabulous site dedicated to getting the word out on free and low-price apps.  These ladies really take-the-cake for providing the most comprehensive look at technology (specifically related to iPads and Tablets), and what is available.  They even post giveaways and drawings for amazing prizes (iPad Minis... haven't won one yet, but I will keep trying!).  All the time you spend entering these drawings will enrich your awareness and knowledge of all that is available.
